Dear Birth Parent(s),

We feel honored to have this opportunity to share our hopes and dreams with you. Our hearts and home eagerly await a bundle of joy to shower with lots of love, laughter, happiness and security. We gladly offer you a glimpse into our lives, traditions and beliefs.

We attended school together since junior high; however, it was two years after graduating high school that our relationship began. We have been together as a couple for over thirteen years and have been married for nine years. We have accomplished many of the goals we have set for ourselves. We found our soul mate, established good careers, built a comfortable home, and wanted to begin to raise a family. We achieved all those dreams except for conceiving a baby. We dealt with infertility tests and treatments for over two years, before we decided not to pursue it any longer. Our heart's desire is to be a family. That dream became a reality in 2005 when we were blessed with the adoption of our son Seth Jacob. He is a very compassionate, intelligent and humorous little boy. He has brought so much joy into our lives. He will be a wonderful big brother. It is our desire to complete our family through the wonderful journey of adoption.

We enjoy the simple things in life such as walking our dog, watching movies, planting a flower garden, and making home improvements. We like to sit on the back porch in the evenings to reminisce and plan for our future. Each year we look forward to vacation. We have family that lives at the beach who we visit during the summer. However, our favorite season is fall. That's when we go to a nice resort and enjoy the cool mornings, warm days and the beautiful fall colors. Throughout the year, we like to attend various craft shows, car shows, football/basketball games, and may seek a thrill ride at a theme park.

We take pride in our careers. We are financially secure and have been employed at our current positions for ten years. We have a strong work ethic and enjoy our professions. Michelle is home by 3:30pm and Danny returns about an hour later, just in time to sit down for a home cooked dinner. Our jobs allow for the flexibility necessary for family time and activities. As fulfilling as our jobs are, nothing will be more important to us than raising a family. Michelle plans to reduce her work hours to allow more time with our new arrival.

We attend church faithfully and it is a very important part of our lives. Our church family is very supportive, warm and embracing. We believe if we put our trust and hope in Him, all things will fall into place. Our faith in God is strong and we gladly accept His will and patiently wait with open arms and loving hearts the blessing that is yet to come. We believe that somewhere there is a child meant specifically for us and we will receive this blessing in His time. We will raise your child with patience and love, instilling Christian values, good morals, manners, respect and self-confidence.

We have endless desires to share with your child. Our days will be filled with blowing bubbles, drawing with sidewalk chalk, going to the zoo, bedtime stories and good night prayers. We will give your child the opportunity to become involved in many childhood activities and will encourage him/her to pursue their interests. Our wish for you is to have peace and comfort knowing that you have provided your child with a loving home. They will always know of their adoption story and what a special person you are and the love you feel. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts and will be happy to provide updates through photos and letters if you desire.
