Thank you so much for reading our letter. That means a lot to us. We are Helene, Ray and Lili and are welcoming you to our hearts and home where love is unconditional & dreams are chased.

First of all, we admire the courage it took to give your child the gift of life & your selflessness in thinking about an adoption plan. We hope that we can make a very difficult time for you a little bit less so by giving you an idea of who we are & how we intend to nurture your child, should you decide we are the right family. We hope that after reading these lines you will come to believe what we already know in our hearts; that we can provide your child the loving, secure, happy home of which you dream.

Our relationship is now 13 years old & our deep-rooted love goes back to our university years in Montreal, Canada. We married nine years ago and then, the same year, Ray's career as a financial advisor translated into a rare opportunity to go work overseas. We decided to jump into the bandwagon and we have since been living in London, England.

That life changing event meant that Helene had to leave her job in Canada as a human resources manager. We then decided that Helene would not go back to work in order to be entirely dedicated to our future children. It is at this juncture that we started to cherish the lifelong dream of parenthood. We struggled with infertility for many years to finally realize that destiny had other plans for us. So no need to tell you how thrilled & grateful we are that you would consider allowing us to welcome your baby into our lives!

Day to day life in our home includes lots of cuddles, kisses & fun times. Days are filled with different lessons & activities to explore & learn. We will strive to teach your child the strong family & moral values that our parents taught us. That way we believe your child will grow into a self-confident & well balanced person.

We are a very active couple & love connecting with Mother Nature. We have travelled extensively & thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. So we can't wait to share these privileged moments with a 2nd child, experiencing different cultures & customs & seeing the world as a family and through children's eyes! We also own a lake side house in Canada where we spend several weeks in the summer and at Christmas. That way, our children can get to know and love their relatives, share their culture and enjoy the great outdoors.

Our daughter Lili was adopted as a newborn from Kansas almost 3 years ago. She is a very happy child and a smile is always on her face. We have brought her up to speak both French and English and she has the rare privilege of having triple Nationality (American, British and Canadian), a privilege that Lili's future sister or brother will share. She is a fantastic little girl who can't wait to become a big sister. Lili is already talking to her baby doll with caring words and saying that it is her little brother or sister. She is even coming up with different names every week! She is adorable to look at.

If we are granted the privilege of parenting your child, we promise to raise her or him with love, support, & encouragement within a loving, happy, & secure home. We promise you this child will be blessed of having our love and a wonderful sister & we will strive to provide her or him with the best of everything life has to offer. We expect your child to share the same opportunities and upbringing as Lili and you will be able to follow his or her progress through pictures and letters sent regularly to the agency.

Although we have never walked in your shoes, we know choosing the right family for your baby must be incredibly hard. Our hearts are with you as you make this important decision. You may not feel like a hero, but you are a hero to us. Without brave people like you, we would not even have the chance to love & cherish a family of our own. You are a unique individual who is blessed with a very special gift, the gift of life.
