Dear Birth Parent(s),

First of all we want to thank you for bringing your baby into this world. God will bless you for this decision and help you through the difficult times ahead.

We are Mark and Sharon. We met in 1998 on our first date. It was the first ever date for both of us. Talk about meant to be! Like almost every couple we planned on starting a family after we got married, but God had other plans so we are looking forward to starting a family through adoption. Both of our families are excited and very supportive of our decision and will bless your child with gifts and love. From a very young age your child will be told how he/she became a special part of our family. He/she will always know that your decision was based on love and unselfishness. You will be a very special part of our thoughts and prayers for the rest of our lives.

Be assured that your baby will be well taken care of. Sharon is already a full time housewife and is very excited about having a baby to love and take care of. Mark is a co-owner (with his brother and father) of the company he works for and has a flexible work schedule. He will be able to take care of the baby when Sharon goes shopping or out to eat with friends. Should a babysitter be needed, both parents live close by and are always ready and waiting to love and spoil their grandchildren.

Our number one goal is to provide your child with the same safe, secure environment and teaching we received as children. We were both raised in Christian homes and will work hard to teach your child Christian values such as respect, truth, honesty, and the golden rule (Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.). We believe with birthparent(s) like you the child will already have some of these values (based on your unselfish decision). Our family taught us the importance of education and we will supply your child with a good education. We are not perfect people, but will do our very best to raise your child to become a healthy, happy, and confident individual.

Not all of our time will be spent teaching and disciplining. We value family and fun time and look forward to taking your child to one of the three playgrounds within a half mile of our house and playing ball with a boy or Barbies with a girl. We are also excited about taking a little one along to our favorite vacation spot in Florida. We can't wait to sit by our fireplace at Christmas and watch your child excitedly open his/her first presents. We are anxiously waiting to fill our hearts with memories like these. Waiting and dreaming for five years has left us sad, but the gift of adoption gives us the hope that it will become a reality.

If you decide to choose us as adoptive parents for your child we want you to know that we will feel honored and it will be the most special and treasured gift anyone has ever given us. We will send as many pictures and letters as you desire so that you can feel reassured in your decision.
