Dear Birth Parent(s),

Adoptive Family Dave & Krissy

We want to start by saying how honored we are to be considered by you. Our hope is that you have and will continue to have the support and love necessary during your decision making process. We admire your generous and unselfish decision in choosing adoption for your baby. We would like to share a little bit about ourselves to illustrate our desire and plan to provide your child with a supportive Christian home.

Our names are Dave and Krissy. We met our first day on campus at college. Within weeks we were inseparable. We became engaged a year later, yet waited three years until graduation to get married. We've been married 6 years, feel our relationship is stronger than ever and see it getting stronger every day. We've cemented our relationship in God and have a supportive network of friends at our church, where we are actively involved. Overall, we have the same goals in life and share the same beliefs on raising children. Not only are we husband and wife, we are each other's best friends.

We long to have the opportunity to become parents and to share our lives with children as a family. We spent years dreaming of the day that we would finally be holding a baby girl/boy. We tried to have biological children of our own, but were unsuccessful. Little did we know that God's plan for us was the gift of adoption. We are humbled and feel blessed to have been given this gift.

We both love children and feel our jobs will provide a secure lifestyle for your child. Family quality time is huge priority in our lives. Krissy is a Speech Therapist in the local school system and enjoys working with elementary school children everyday at work. Also, she gets winter break, spring break, holidays and snow days off from work and will be able to spend time with your child during summer-break from school. Dave is a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative and when he is not on sales calls, he is working from home. We both grew up in homes, where our parents were actively involved in our lives. They were our #1 fans. We seek to provide the same support and unconditional love for your child. In addition, we promise to provide your child with the best education possible.

We will teach your child to work hard, care about others and to love God. The church where we regularly attend has an excellent children's ministry. There are activities and programs for children of all ages. In addition, we can't wait to share our family traditions with your child. We look forward to family meals, walks with the dog, attending sporting events, playing board games, reading stories and family vacations. We envision decorating the house for Christmas, dressing up for Halloween and watching fireworks on the Fourth of July. We want to share all these experiences with your child, but also let them know how much they are loved.

We plan to share the adoption story with your child from the very beginning. We want to be open and honest with him/her. As your child gets older and becomes curious, we will answer any questions they may have to the best of our knowledge. We want them to know they are special and loved. We will explain how your decision was difficult, but you wanted the best for him/her. We want him/her to know that you only had good intentions. Also, based on your preferences, we will happily send pictures and letters each year as the child grows.

Again, we are honored you are reading our letter and are considering us for such a special opportunity. We hope you have a better view of the type of parents we would be. We pray everyday for the opportunity to become parents and pray that God will bless you in your choice.

With the deepest respect,

Dave & Krissy
