We are Renée, Larry and Elizabeth. We would like to thank you for taking the time to consider us as adoptive parents and family for your child. We greatly admire the courage it took to give your baby the gift of life and your selflessness in considering an adoption plan. You are giving the greatest gift to couples like us who long for a family and are unable to make that happen on our own. Should you choose our family to adopt your child, we promise that our lives will be devoted to providing a loving, nurturing and safe home that will allow your child to grow and flourish.

We have been married for over 4 years and consider our marriage to be a complete partnership. We trust each other openly and make spending time together a priority. Bringing Elizabeth into our lives was an overwhelming joy and we feel blessed every day that choices like yours made our dream of a family come true. We enjoy companionship as a family in all of our activities from daily tasks to fun-time activities.

Renée, being adopted herself, experienced first hand the strong bonds that are formed between adoptive parents and their children. She was fortunate to be united with her birthmother and 2 half-siblings. This journey was fully supported by her adoptive family. Having Renée's birth family included in our extended family has greatly enriched our lives. We personally support a birthparent's choice to want pictures and letters and for an adoptive child to seek contact in early adulthood if that is their choice.

We have a large home that we enjoy spending time in. All of our space is devoted to spending time with Elizabeth. She is part of everything we do from playing with toys to helping out in the kitchen. We dream of strengthening our family circle by welcoming a new sibling to share in our lives together. We have a large park-like backyard, complete with fishpond, gazebo and gardens, which Larry enjoys taking care of. We envision the laughter of children as they run around and play in the yard. We have already chosen a place for a large activity set that we will all be able to enjoy.

We love the traditions of birthdays and holidays. Renée loves to cook and bake cookies and cupcakes with Elizabeth. Renée recently completed a cake decorating course . She is looking forward to making all of Elizabeth's and our 2nd child's birthday cakes and fun treats for the holidays including Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day and Halloween. Elizabeth enjoyed helping with all parts of baking. Thanksgiving is a huge feast shared with family and friends and Christmas brings decorations and extra cheer to our home. We look forward to celebrating all of our traditions from carving pumpkins, decorating Christmas trees, baking cookies and Easter egg hunts with a larger family.

Family vacations provide some of our favorite memories of childhood. We enjoy traveling throughout the U.S. and the world. Elizabeth has already traveled to visit family as well as enjoyed trips to the zoo, amusement parks, hiking and biking. There is lots of room in our lives for Elizabeth's sibling. We also enjoy seeing movies, the circus, kayaking and attending the theater and can't wait to share all of these activities with your child. During the winter months; we enjoy reading or playing board games in front of our fireplace. We have an entire cabinet filled with board games for all ages.

Our large network of friends often comment on the warmth and happiness of our home. We consider this to be the biggest compliment we can receive. Having children to share this home is our strongest dream. We have built a life based on the Christian principles of love, respect and trust. These values are fundamental to us and ones we will share with your child if you bless us with the opportunity.

We are looking forward to growing our family. If we are lucky enough to adopt your child, we plan to provide a loving, nurturing and supportive family. We will encourage your child to explore every possible educational, recreational and social opportunity to be able to fulfill their every dream. We plan to read daily to your child and to encourage activities such as music, sports, art, and a love of nature.

As your child grows, we will lovingly explain the selfless decision that you made, how much you loved him/her and of the sacrifice you made in his/her best interest. We would be happy to send you letters and pictures for however long you wish to receive them. We want you to feel that you can ask us anything and to know that we will do our best to make you feel completely comfortable choosing us. We will always remain open and honest about the adoption, and we will always feel grateful for the priceless gift that you have given us.
