It takes a lot of courage, inner-strength, and a total selflessness for you to embark on this journey. We wish you peace of mind, blessings, and good health throughout this overwhelming process. We know that when we are blessed as parents that we will dedicate ourselves to your child, we will be filled with unconditional love, and we will be overjoyed!

Our names are Chris and Elena. We've been best friends since we met, had a beautiful wedding, and have been together for over 5 happy years.

Chris is a professor of biology. He is involved in many activities at work and also takes part in events in our community. Chris is also a joker; he loves to make people laugh even if it's at his own expense. He'll start dancing when you least expect it, and he enjoys being silly in general. He is a lot of fun to be around! I know he will bring this excitement of learning and fun to your child.

Elena works in physical therapy and helps people everyday. She goes above and beyond her role as a therapist and helps her patients cope with the difficult experiences they are going through. She will organize collections for food, clothes, and furniture for needy patients around the holidays. She makes her patients feel that they are more than her job, but her friend. Elena has more of a dry wit, and is often surprising people with her hilarious zingers. She is quick to help family with advice on their various ailments. She is a nurturer and loves to help family and friends. We are each other's perfect match and we can't wait to share our immense love with a child.

After years of trying to start a family, we learned that we were unable to have our own children. We have friends who have adopted, and have been wonderful resources for us. We knew adoption was exactly what we wanted. As parents, our greatest strengths are our love for one another, our commitment to each other and family. Elena plans on being a stay-at-home Mom. We want your child to have the same sense of family that we each grew up with. Chris' job is flexible and allows for him to work from home when needed to provide a more well rounded home life.

Our extended families are an extremely important part of our lives. We visit as often as possible and plan family vacations at least once a year. Last year was Europe, this year Las Vegas. Our parents will be excellent grandparents. They are all looking forward to showing off their first grandchild and creating fun memories with him or her. Our own grandparents have been an invaluable part of our lives. We have so many fun family memories with them. Our families can't wait to start creating their own memories with their future grandchildren, niece/nephew.

As your child grows we plan on giving him or her the best education. We are both college educated and plan to offer the same opportunities to your child. We can't wait to hear about your child's interests and dreams. We will listen and encourage all that they are passionate about and try to lead by example.

Your child will always know the amount of love and commitment it took you to bring them into this life. We want you to know that we believe the birth parent(s) should share in their child's milestones through updates in the form of photos and letters. We hope for an adoption that allows for the child's questions about their birth parent(s) to be answered as they grow and want to know more about where they came from.

We want you to feel confident in your decision and hope for an opportunity to meet you so we can get to know each other. Your relationship with us is a very important one, one that will last a lifetime.
