In learning about adoption, we have gained a huge amount of respect for birth parents and know this is a difficult and emotional decision for you. We know that you are making this decision with great love for your child and we admire your courage and strength. We want you to be comfortable with your decision. Having a child join our family would be the greatest gift we could ever receive.

Our names are Aaron and Lesley. We are both in our mid-thirties and have been happily married for ten years. We met twelve years ago through a mutual friend. On our first date we had so many things to talk about and so much in common. We both knew that we would spend the rest of our lives together.

We have a loving marriage based on trust, honesty, communication, and mutual respect. We are best friends as well as husband and wife. We are a warm and loving couple who spend a lot of time talking, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. We love to do everything together- whether making pancakes on Sunday mornings, watching movies, traveling to new places, or caring for our home. We can't wait to share our lives with a child.

Aaron works as a Portfolio Manager at a financial services company. In Aaron's free time, he enjoys working with computers and playing baseball and golf. Lesley works as a second grade teacher at a school that is a half mile from our home. Your child will attend Lesley's school in the future. Teaching will allow her to work and also to spend every day with your child. In Lesley's spare time, she enjoys exercising, scrapbooking, reading, baking, and decorating our home.

We have four generations of family and they are a huge part of our lives. Our family gets together every Sunday for dinner as well as to celebrate holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries. Our families provide us with a great support system and strong family values. Our families are supportive, excited, and enthusiastic about our adoption plans. They are looking forward to welcoming a new baby into our family.

We have so many dreams and plans for our family's future. We are so excited for the many "firsts" that come with raising a child. We are eagerly anticipating their first smile, first words, first steps, first visit from the tooth fairy, first day of school, and so many others. We have so many parts of our life that we look forward to sharing with a child such as baking cookies, reading the Sunday comics, going apple picking, making sandcastles at the beach, and decorating gingerbread houses. We are so excited to experience all that life has to offer through the eyes of a child.

We realize that we have been blessed with a loving marriage, supportive families and friends, a comfortable home, excellent health, and fulfilling careers. We want to share all of this with a child. We promise to give your child a wonderful life filled with love, laughter, and learning.

We will be completely open and honest with your child about their adoption. They will always know that your love, courage, and strength made our family complete. We will gladly provide you with pictures and letters for as long as you would like. We are also open to meetings before and after the birth. We would be grateful if you chose us to be the adoptive parents of your child.
