We can only imagine what it is like for you to go through these profiles-how emotional and stressful it must be to determine what is best for your child. We consider adoption a natural and beautiful way to grow a family. Our future birth mother can trust that her choice will be a respected, sacred topic in our home. One of the reasons we chose American Adoptions is their focus on supporting you during and after your child's placement. Assuming it's what you want, we will proudly share pictures and updates so you'll know your child is well cared for.

Our names are Abby and Kevin. As we move through this process, we often talk about how we'll handle challenges that may be presented to us as parents. At the end of these talks we circle back to the same basic philosophy: our job isn't to create a person, but to support a person as they create themselves. We feel our primary responsibility is to provide the tools one needs to be equipped for life: patience, integrity, passion, spirituality, a sense of humor, and-most importantly-a sense of self.

As we look back at both of our upbringings, we feel the greatest thing we received was the unconditional love and support of our families. Now we're excited to grow our own! Our relatives and friends are very encouraging of our decision to adopt. Both sets of grandparents are young and eager to have little ones to spoil, and our siblings have already started planning celebrations and group vacations. We are blessed to live on a corner lot in a fantastic, family-oriented community in Florida that has access to a ski lake.

Abby loves to cook food from all over the world. We eat almost every meal outside in a screened-in lanai with fans on in the summer and sweaters on in the winter. We love to swim in our pool and often take walks together at night. The only time our television is on is during football season. Kevin loves to wakeboard, play flag football and golf. Abby is in the process of earning her green belt in Kung Fu and pursuing her writing passion. We travel often and spend many holidays at a family home in the Caribbean.

We currently both work from home for a technology company and are blessed with a financial position that will allow Abby to dedicate herself to raising children. We are able to provide the best available education and extra curricular opportunities throughout the child's development.

Good humor, love, communication and the faith that everything will be okay in the end has blessed us over our three years of marriage and, we believe, will enable us to be nurturing parents.
