Hi, our names are Joan and Vincenzo. We want to start by thanking you for considering us as adoptive parents for your child. Truthfully adoption is scaring and exciting to us, all at the same time. We can't imagine all the emotions your going through.

Fate played a big part in when Joan would meet Vincenzo. Our paths would cross several times until the day we would meet face to face. Thirty years ago his family would cross the ocean looking for work. It was Joan's hometown of NJ they came to. As a teenager Joan bought pizza from a man who would become Joan's future brother in law. It was only a year later when they relocated to a small town in south Jersey. Twenty four years passed when Joan and her daughter moved south. It was to that same town. Our first year there Joan would unknowingly pass right in front of Vincenzo's restaurant a couple times a week. She even started working at a dental office he had been a patient for years. However, he had changed dentists. The following year Joan started working at another dental office (yes, it's where he went). This is where we would finally meet. A co-worker introduced him as the best pizza guy in town. For the next year, she would enjoy seeing him at his cleaning appointments. He would tell her stories about his trips to Italy. From then on, when Joan passed his restaurant she'd wave to him. Then one day, she ran into the pizzeria and invited him to her BBQ. Joan was so excited he came. We talked for hours that night and have been in separable ever since.

Please know family is the most important part of our relationship and our earliest conversations were about raising a family together. After failed infertility treatments we realized our lives were turning onto a different path. We've had endless conversations with our family about adoption . They are all very supportive. We all believe that you are making an incredible sacrifice for your baby. They look forward for the chance to help us enrich the life of your child.

Growing up in very close, loving and caring families, we have learned strong values from our parents. We look forward to teaching the baby the Italian language and culture. Every summer we travel to Italy and visit with Vincenzo's family. Religion is also very important in our lives. The baby will be raised Catholic, attending weekly mass with us. We will make sure that your child has access to great opportunities and the best education. We believe that leading by example is the most important way to teach a child. Having a strong sense of family around the child is of the utmost importance. We love to open our hearts and home to the ones we love. Family gatherings are an important part of our lives. Cooking is a big part of the day. We enjoy trying new recipes and sharing them. Our family is expanding with little ones waiting to play and grow up with your child. The baby will be surrounded by love and support from us and from our family. They have been praying everyday for you to come into our lives.

Please have faith knowing that by placing your child in our family, he/she will be treasured every moment. Because we have flexible schedules, one of us will always be there to provide full time care for the baby. Our promise to you is that every special moment will be captured for you to share. Our letters will be full of pictures and memories for you to hold on to. You will have no doubt that your decision was the best for your child. Through the years you will be able to share all the joys in your baby's life. You will see he/she is safe, happy and loved. We will be honest and open about his /her adoption. We are going to make the baby their own special adoption book. In it will be our profile and all the pictures and letters we send to you. We hope you will send us a picture of yourselves to add to the book. We want the child to understand the love and care that went into you choosing us as their adoptive family.
