First, we want to thank you for considering us as adoptive parents to your child. We appreciate you taking the time to learn about us and we hope that our information will be enough to assist you in your adoption planning. We admire your courage to consider something as difficult as adoption and we can assure you that we will honor your decision by providing a loving, safe and stable home for your child; a home filled with unconditional love, affection and fun.

Our names are Troels and Stine and we have been married for twelve years. We first met 18 years ago at a mutual friend's house. We started talking and after a short while we began dating. Since then we have shared an amazing friendship filled with a deep love and respect for one another. Twelve years ago we decided to move to the United States from Denmark, where we are both from. It has been some very good years for us and we truly enjoy living in the States. We have built many deep friendships with the people we have met since moving here. In 1998 we bought a little puppy; a longhaired Dachshund which we named Sniffy. She has been with us since and we love her dearly. We enjoy spending time together whether it be traveling or quiet time at home with Sniffy - the princess of the house. We also spend lots of time with our friends, either entertaining them at our house or going out together.

We love children and after realizing that we would not be able to conceive a child we have decided on adoption. We both agree that getting pregnant is not what is important to us, becoming parents is what matters. We both feel that the other will be an amazing parent and we both share the same values, morals and views on how to raise a child. Your child will be cared for, loved unconditionally and raised to believe in him/herself and also to know that everything in life is possible. We believe in strong family ties and we are excited to share our lives and the wonders of the world with a child.

15 years ago Stine's aunt and uncle adopted their first child, a baby boy, and a few years later they decided to adopt a little girl. Stine's cousins, Andreas and Laura, are both delightful to be around and they have been a blessing for the whole family. They are a joy to be around and adoption has been a very natural part of our lives ever since. We are both very excited about building a family through adoption and due to our experience with adoption through our family we just cannot wait to shower this baby with unconditional love.

Our families are very loving and caring people with strong traditions and values. They are all extremely supportive of our decision to adopt and they are all excited to have a new little baby in the family. Our parents are especially honored to be grandparents again, and our nephews cannot wait to have a cousin to play with.

Our promise to you: We promise to raise your child in a loving family with high morals and values and we promise to love and respect your child unconditionally. We feel it is important to be open and honest to your child about the adoption and we will portray you in the best light. We will tell him/her how painful it was for you, but because of your strong love for your baby, you decided to choose adoption. We will raise your child in a safe, loving environment where education and health are highly prioritized along with fun, laughter and strong family ties. Your child will be nurtured and supported in all of his/hers endeavors and we are committed to giving him/her a happy life overall. We will provide you with as many pictures, letters and information as you wish throughout your child's life.
