Thank you for reading our letter and taking a moment to get to know us. We’re Lauren and Steve and we would love for you to consider us to be the parents of your baby. We have so much respect for you and the loving care with which you are making an adoption plan. This is such an emotional and important decision. We hope to make things a little easier for you.

Please know that with us, your baby would grow up knowing that you loved him or her very much. We’re also committed to an adoption arrangement that makes everyone involved feel comfortable. We would be happy to exchange photos and to meet with you, but should you prefer a closed adoption, we will honor your privacy. We hope that this letter and these photos will give you some idea of the loving and secure home we can provide for your baby.

We’ve have been married for 6 years and have known each other for 11 more. Our love continues to grow stronger every day. We have always dreamt of having children but were unable to conceive on our own. Now we happily look forward to adoption so we can share our love with a new life.

We both grew up in loving and stable homes with parents who always supported us. Family holds a very firm, loving presence in both our lives. We strongly believe in traditions that bring family together (birthdays, extended family vacations, fall foliage weekends, Christmas, Easter egg hunts, summer BBQ's) We regularly take our nieces and nephews to ball games, the zoo, the library, and town celebrations. We are the most experienced Aunt and Uncle you can imagine! We treasure this family time knowing that they will bring this love to another generation of family to come.

Having a good time and laughing a lot is important to us. We enjoy our vacations, weekend adventures, summers at the beach, bike riding, swimming and snorkeling. We also enjoy our time together hanging out at our home. We love our home; both love cooking and can’t wait to set another place at the dinner table. As a couple, we are committed to a strong, healthy and lasting marriage. That’s the promise we made to each other and we intend to keep it. The demonstration of our love and mutual respect we show each other everyday is one of the most essential gifts that we can give to a child offering them faith, hope and support.

We also know the importance of continuously expanding our horizon through exploring and experiencing new places and things. We’ll build a family life that fosters curiosity, adventure and education through family outings to museums, theater, cultural events and, perhaps most importantly, higher education We’ve seen the impact that a better education can have so we’ll make sure that the best schools from kindergarten through college will always be theirs and we’ll be there too for mentoring, coaching and support the entire time.

As you make your decision and complete you adoption plan, we wish you the best. If you choose us, you can be confident that no one could love your baby more than us. Our hearts and lives have so much room to love, support and cherish this most special of all gifts.
