We want to tell you how much we respect you for your courageous and selfless decision to consider adoption for your child. We know that this is a very difficult decision for you, and admire your strength in making it. Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and to consider us as parents for your precious baby.

We are so excited to become parents. All of her life Megan has dreamed about being a stay at home mom: taking walks, making cookies, cuddling together and reading stories. It's something that she feels made to do and be. John is always making goofy faces at our friends' babies to make them laugh, or pulling their youngsters up on his lap to give them a hug or read them a story. One month early in our marriage we thought we might be pregnant. John was in college at the time and he called Megan to tell her that he had caught himself skipping across campus, he was so excited! Now that we have found that we are unable to have biological children, we are just as excited at the prospect of adopting.

Both of us love children and can't wait to add a little one to our family. We have deliberately and thoughtfully arranged our lives to provide a great environment for a child. We chose a house in a quiet neighborhood with a great backyard to play in. We bought a 'family car' a couple of years ago in anticipation of having a child soon. This summer we purchased a tent trailer so that we could bring a child with us on our many camping trips. We have ensured complete financial security on one income so that our kids can have the attention of a full-time, stay-at-home mom. Your child will grow up in a loving, Christian, two-parent home, with parents who are committed to meeting all of his or her physical, mental, and emotional needs. We want to teach them by example to be responsible, happy, loving and unselfish adults who will make a difference in the lives around them. We can't wait to invest countless hours in our children's lives, helping them to reach their fullest potential.

We will strive to give your child the best education possible. Everyone has a different learning style, and we can't wait to give a child the one on one attention and assistance that each unique child needs. We will make sure that our children have the opportunity to pursue the things that interest them, whether it is sports, music, art or whatever they are drawn to. As the child gets older we will provide them with a private school education and college after that. You may be assured that your child will receive an excellent education that will prepare him or her for whatever career path they choose. We believe that children should be valued for who they are and not what they do, and we will love and support your child no matter what interests he or she pursues.

We are certain that we will love your child just as much as we would have loved any child that could have been born to us. We will put his or her needs first in our lives and make sure that he or she grows up knowing that they are unconditionally loved both by us, and by their birth family. Your child will be surrounded by a large and loving family of grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins-all of whom are extremely excited to meet the new addition to the family! He or she will be showered with all the love and attention that a child deserves.

As you consider us as parents for your baby, we want you to know that your child will be treasured by us always. We know that you love your child and want to choose the best thing for their life. If you choose us as adoptive parents we will make sure that your child knows that you love him or her, and that you chose to do something that was very difficult so that they could have all that you wanted for them. We will share their special adoption story with your child from a young age, and always present their adoption, and you, their birthparent, in a very positive light. We are excited to share your child's growth and progress with you through sending you regular pictures and letters if you so desire. We know that it is important that you know that they are happy and doing well.
