Hello, we are Craig and Sandy. Thank you for taking this time to learn a little more about us. We know this is a very important decision in your life and we appreciate that you are considering adoption. We have been happily married for 7 years and do not have any children. We are very eager to become parents and will provide a home filled with lots of love and support that your child deserves to achieve happiness and success in life.

As adoptive parents we would be very open with your child about their history from a very early age, and we would be honored to send you pictures and write to you about his/her progress throughout childhood. Our neighborhood is very adoption-friendly. On our street there are 3 children who were adopted, and our neighbors adopted with the help of American Adoptions which is partially how we are here today writing to you! We find it exciting that our child will have playmates who are also adopted.

Raising a child is the most important job a person can have. As parents it is important to us to spend lots of time with the child. Sandy will work part-time from home to be a stay at home mom. Craig's job is not far from home and will allow him flexibility to work from home whenever necessary. Family time is very important to us. We plan to give a child a loving and stable home including family playtime, eating dinner as a family everyday, and reading bedtime stories every night. We are making a beautifully decorated nursery for a baby to be comfortable, happy, and safe.

Our family is very excited for us and cannot wait to welcome a new addition! Our families live nearby and we see them often, whether it is visiting on a weekend or celebrating a birthday or holiday. Your child will have cousins close in age and would make Sandy's parents first time grandparents. Our families cannot wait to shower the child with love and attention and, of course, presents!

We enjoy many activities together that we want to share with a child. Some of our fondest childhood memories are of family vacations. We enjoy traveling, and want to show a child the world. We plan to take regular family vacations whether it is Disney World, exploring the National Parks, or the beaches of the Caribbean. Wherever we go we bring home fond memories that will last forever. We look forward to giving your child wonderful memories like we had growing up.

We also have fun spending time with friends and playing with their children, or going for a walk in the park, hiking, or just staying at home in front of the fireplace watching a movie. We love to host get-togethers at our home. Sandy enjoys cooking for friends and family and our home is a place where everyone likes to spend time. Christmas is our favorite holiday. We decorate our house to feel the spirit of the holiday and celebrate! It is tradition that every year we have a festive celebration with our families and we cannot wait to share it with a little one!

We have a solid, loving marriage. We are very excited to become parents and we will provide your child a home with love and security.
