Our names our Nelson and Sabrina and we first want to say thank you for taking time to read about our family and getting to know us. You are very courageous and we truly honor your decision, and pray that you are getting all the support and love that you need during this time. We believe that your decision to consider adoption is a blessing and that your child will receive nothing but unconditional love from us.

We would like to tell you a little bit about ourselves. We were high school sweethearts and married soon after graduation. We have been married for seven wonderful years and cannot wait to expand our family. Having children is something we have always wanted. We had our first child, Will, two years ago. After almost losing both Sabrina and Will during the pregnancy, we decided that adoption would be the best plan for us to share our ever growing love. Will is very excited about being an older brother! We want to raise your child with the best family life one can possibly have. We both think education is very important and will lovingly encourage them to be the best they can be.

We share the same beliefs in raising children and thus we arrange our work schedules so that one of us is at home with them each day. We believe that we can provide a stable, loving family where your child will be raised to be confident and loving, and have a true respect of life and how he/she was brought to be here with us.

As parents, we want to show the world to our children. We will give your child the right tools to make the best decisions and will encourage them in whatever path they choose. We communicate openly in our home and will always be there for them. We will raise your child to be a good person and will share our love of life with them.

Our families are very supportive and we have come to this decision to adopt a child with nothing but their total support and love. They know we will make great adoptive parents and cannot wait to see how we share our love with your child. We have a very close family and get together at least once a week.

Sabrina's extended family gets together every Christmas Eve and we go to the midnight church service. We have a great time and it is wonderful to see how many pews we can fill. Nelson's family also has a great Christmas tradition of "Silly" Stockings. We load up our stockings with little trinkets and silly things for each person and just have a blast, some of us laughing so hard we can't breathe. It has always been a wonderful time and we can not wait to share that great love of the holidays with your child.

We have endless plans for your child. We cannot wait to share our holiday traditions like carving our pumpkin for the front porch, and streaming lights around the yard for Christmas, or taking them for their first swim on our family's July 4th celebration.

We love the outdoors and cannot wait to take your child on vacation with us to the mountains. We also want to share with them our love of the lake. We love to go camping, cook hotdogs and marshmallows over the camp fire and swim and play in the lake. I know your child will enjoy it as much as we do and we will be there to ensure that they are growing in a secure and loving family environment.

If you choose us to be the parents of your child, we want you to know that we will love them with our whole hearts and will do everything in our power to love and support them in everything they do. They will be our pride and joy and we will raise them to be loving children and have a very open relationship with them concerning their adoption and how they came to be with us. We will be there for him or her in every way possible and will make use of every resource we have to make them feel comfortable in this decision. We will make sure that they know that you made the most courageous decision anyone can make by letting us adopt and raise them. We want them to understand that you did this out of love for them and wanting nothing but the best for them. We look forward to sending letters and pictures as they grow up and will forever be in debt to you for your most wonderful gift, the gift of life. You are truly a special person and we will share our admiration for you to your child, that is a promise.
