We want to thank you for your time in reading this letter. We can only imagine the difficult decision you have before you. We admire your selflessness and courage. We believe that your decision is incredibly noble and that it reflects your undying love and compassion for your child.

Our names are Bill and Cheryl. We have been married for 15 years, but we have been together as a couple for the past 21 years. We were co-workers at our local McDonald's, and as the cliché goes, it was love at first sight! As we began to try for a family, things didn't seem to work out as we had hoped and planned. After five long years of trying, we decided to go the route of infertility treatments. In 1997 we were blessed with our daughter, Zoe. After the birth of our beautiful daughter, we both agreed that if we couldn't have a child the old fashion way, then we would seek other options, one of which was adoption. As our longing to have another child has grown, so had our thoughts on adoption, which has brought us to where we are today. To be able to share our lives with another child has always been our hopes and dreams. Zoe is ready to be a big sister and we are ready to give the gift of life to another child.

We are confident that we can provide a good stable home for your child and we guarantee that your child will be raised with as much love, support, and self-confidence as a parent can give. Our families have taught us the importance of having a good education and we are confident that we can provide him or her with the best.

We will bring your child up in a very positive, supporting and loving environment. We will teach and reinforce good moral values. We believe that from the very start, it is important to teach a child right from wrong, polite manners, and respect for one another. We will provide options for your child to learn the ability to make sound choices.

As with our relationship as husband and wife, we believe that it is essential to provide an environment that encourages open communication. We plan to support your child's involvement in his or her own chosen hobbies, interests, extracurricular activities and educational opportunities.

Our families and very kind, loving and caring people, who are ready to open their hearts up to your child. Your child will be given a lot of love and encouragement from everyone. Our families, as well as our friends, are enthusiastic and supportive of our decision to adopt and to have a new baby to welcome into the family. Both of our parents are anxiously awaiting a new grandbaby. We want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to expand our family, and to become parents again.

We have so many plans for your child, especially family oriented activities such as birthday parties, camping in the great outdoors and family traditions. We want to introduce your child to a variety of activities and we cannot wait to include the little one in our family vacation plans which will always include our yearly Christmas trip to Disney World for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas.

Be assured that your child will know how they came to be a part of our family. We will always present your life in a positive and forever grateful way. He or she will know that it was your unconditional love, devotion and unselfishness that allowed us the opportunity to have them be a part of our lives.
