Thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter, and for considering placing your child with our family. A decision like this must be unimaginably difficult, and we appreciate your kindness, selflessness, and courage. Please be assured that, if chosen, we will provide your child a stable, supportive home, full of laughter and love.

We are Kevin and Allison. We met ten years ago at college, and have been best friends ever since. Almost five years ago, we became parents for the first time, and, needless to say, our lives have never been the same. Once our first son, Dominic, was born, we decided it was very important for one of us to stop working and stay home full time. Allison has been a full time mom ever since. In the three years that followed, we welcomed two more sons, Salvatore and Angelo. We have always wanted a large family, and it seems logical to us to have our family grow once more, this time by means of adoption.

We want to assure you that we will always do our best to provide your child with the best life possible. We feel that includes instilling strong family values, providing unconditional love and support, and using age appropriate discipline. We also look forward to having a lot of fun. We all enjoy vacationing at the beach, singing and dancing around the house, reading books, and playing outside.

The three children we have now are anxiously awaiting the arrival of another sibling. We talk often with them about things she will do with them, and how they will be such great and caring older brothers. They are wonderful little boys, and we believe they will welcome their new sibling with open arms and hearts.

The love and support your child will receive will go far beyond the walls of our home. Our families and friends are thrilled at the idea of welcoming another child. With Allison having four adopted cousins, our family has seen how adoption can enable a family to grow in size and love. Along with the support of family and friends, we want you to know that the school district we live in is nationally ranked. Your child will receive the best education available, which, we feel, is so important in a child's life. Also, being located in close proximity to a number of large cities presents us with the opportunity of many multi-cultural festivals and activities. Our local community has grown so much in the last few years in size and diversity. It is a wonderful place to raise children and grow as a family.

We both grew up in families that always held family and togetherness to a very high standard. We continue to do the same with our children. We value family traditions of the past, such as Christmas Eve dinner and participating in the 4th of July parade and we truly enjoy starting our own traditions with our children. We love the excuse to be kids again, so we love our annual trips to the beach, swimming at our city pool in the summer, and decorating our house for Christmas together. We just love being a family and we cannot wait for our family to grow once more.

We want you to know that your child will know where she came from, and how she became part of our family. We will answer any questions she has in an age appropriate manner. We will tell her how you were extremely generous and brave, and how your decision was made with love and hope. We will keep you updated yearly with letters and pictures and we hope to ease your mind about your decision in this way.
