We believe you are amazingly strong for choosing adoption; please know we are praying for your peace of mind and heart. If adopted into our home, your child will be raised knowing he or she has two sets of parents that love them very much and want only the best for them. We would like to tell you a bit about ourselves and give you a glimpse into what your baby’s life will be like.
We have been married for seven years and look forward to spending our lives together. We have a beautiful three-year-old daughter named Hope and raising her has been the most incredible experience. Hope will make a great big sister; she is very excited to dote on a baby brother or sister. Our families are thrilled we have decided to adopt and are very excited to welcome this baby into our family.
We first met one night when we were both out-on-the-town with friends. We dated for five years when Jim proposed at midnight on the turn of the millennia. How’s that for romantic! We had a beautiful Catholic wedding surrounded by our friends and family. After several years of infertility, we had Hope. Since then we’ve been through many unsuccessful fertility treatments. Though our lives are full, we feel our family is not complete. We have always hoped for at least two children and have chosen adoption to fulfill our dreams.
We are a fun-loving family who are happiest outdoors. Our favorite family activities include camping, taking our daughter to the playground and out for ice cream, or getting together with friends to cook out and play games. Jim loves woodworking and has made some beautiful things including Hope’s crib and highchair. Laura painted a mural in the nursery of Pooh and the Honey Tree and cross stitched many baby blankets. She also loves to scrapbook, quilt and play her grandmother’s 100-year-old grand piano.
Your baby's life will include a large loving family of grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, cousins and supportive friends. We will support our children's dreams and aspirations, wherever they may lead. We are loving and dedicated parents who will be there to cheer their accomplishments and support them through their disappointments. Above all, we will love them more and more with each passing day.
