Hi! Our names are Andrea and Dan. We can't begin to understand how difficult this decision is for you. We admire your selflessness, courage, and compassion and hope that we can help to bless you with a deep sense of peace about your decision. We also want to thank you for the opportunity to share our story.

We met seven years ago while we were attending a business conference in California. Soon after meeting, it became quickly evident that we shared the same values of family, friends, faith, and respect. Most importantly, the greatest gift we share is a sense of humor. We have fun making each other laugh and joking around…usually it's doing silly things. On our first date, we found out that we both wanted to have children. After we were married we tried to have a biological child, but were unsuccessful. After a year of infertility treatments, we realized that adoption was God's plan for us.

Last year we experienced the joy of adoption thanks to the incredible courage of Kayla and Kelly, the birth parents of our daughter, Jillian. They are a wonderful couple with the biggest hearts in the world. After meeting them and spending several weekends getting to know each other, we both felt like it was fate. We were all together when Jillian Marie was born. We stay in touch with them through email, letters and pictures. We know that they will always love Jillian and one day, Jillian will know this as well. We want you to know that we will be very open and honest with our second child about his/ her adoption as well. We will show him/her that your decision was selfless and based on unconditional love. We will send you pictures and letters, if you would like, so that you can be reassured about the healthy and happy development of your child.

So, what's it like where we live? We live in the suburbs of a major city. We enjoy the restaurants, movies, and cultural activities of the city, as well as the benefits of the small community lifestyle of our town. Annually our town sponsors art and food festivals, outdoor concerts, movies, and events for children of all ages. We are fortunate that our home is in an excellent school district. Education is very important to us and we will make sure that our children attend the best schools. We both have enjoyed the advantages of a good education. Our parents pursued advanced education as well as our siblings…we have three lawyers and two doctors in the family. We will make sure that we pass along the strong family values that our parents instilled in us.

We spend our weekends in the yard gardening and taking long walks with Jillian. We love to plant new flowers and shrubs and look forward to seeing them in the spring. We just planted a beautiful tree in our garden in honor of Jillian and we have identified the perfect spot for a second tree….for the next little love of our life.

We both love being parents and have enjoyed every minute as a family. We are ready to expand our family and we are convinced that there is another child who could benefit from our special love. We have endless love, joy, and laughter to share. Jillian is a happy and loving, little girl who is going to be a wonderful big sister. We have faith that your love and concern will guide you in choosing the family who is best suited for your child. We would be forever grateful if you chose us…you will have answered our prayers and, in return, we will provide a loving, safe, nurturing, and happy home and family for your child.
