Our names are Mike and Lissa. We want to thank you very much for taking the time to read our profile. We have the utmost respect for you and know this is probably the toughest decision of your life. It shows that you are a courageous, caring and selfless person. Thank you for considering adoption.

We have been married for nine years. We met at work and we were friends prior to dating. We are now best friends and would love to share our lives with your child. We have considered adoption from the beginning of our marriage. So once we were told that we couldn't have biological children, adoption was naturally the next step to take in order to build our family.

If you choose us for the parents of your child, we promise to love your child with all of our hearts. We will provide a good education, a stable and loving home for your child. Above all else, we will always be there for him/her no matter what.

We look forward to spending everyday with your child. Because of our flexible schedules, we will only be apart from him/her part-time. We have a friend who is a stay at home mom and will be our part-time babysitter. We can't wait to take your child on family vacations, make Christmas cookies and color Easter eggs. He/she will receive daily hugs, kisses and I love you(s).

We live in an area with so many activities for children. We will show your child so many places throughout the world. We will be able to expose him/her to so many different environments. We will visit our families often and Lissa's family live on a 200+ acre farm. We will take him/her hiking, horseback riding and so much more.

We will raise your child in a caring, encouraging and supportive atmosphere. We will let him/her know no dream is too big. We will raise your child to be a polite, kind and loving person. Your child will be the center of our universe.

We will be open and upfront from the beginning about the adoption to your child. We will speak of you in a kind and caring manner only. We will let your child know what a difficult choice it was for you and that you did it so he/she could have the best things in life. We will let your child know your decision was made out of love. Daily we will let your child know how much you and we love him/her. We will send you letters and pictures so that you will know that your child is being cared for and loved. If you wish we will speak to you on the phone about your child.

Our family and friends are very excited about our decision to adopt. Your child will be surrounded by a lot of people who will love and cherish him/her.
