First of all we want to thank you for reviewing our family profile. Our names are Greg and Lisa, and we want so much to be parents and are very excited about adopting a child. We understand that this is a difficult time for you; we respect and appreciate you taking the time to make sure you find the right family for your baby. We believe in our hearts that you are a strong and caring person to give such an amazing and precious gift.

In writing this letter we hope to share with you a little information about us. We have been happily married for eleven years. Our hearts were broken when we found out that we will never conceive a child together. Though this was difficult for us, our faith in God helped us, once again through life's many challenges. From that, we knew that adoption was the plan God has chosen for us. In 2004 we were blessed with our daughter, Taylor, through adoption.

We know we can provide the love and guidance needed to raise your child. We have been blessed with wonderful lives, growing up in homes that instilled strong family values, unconditional love, and respect. We love our life together and have a lot we want to share. One of the many things we want to share is our Christmas tradition. We have a beautiful family gathering on Christmas Eve, we eat dinner, sing Christmas carols, enjoy the excitement of watching the children open theirs gifts, and then we attend Midnight Mass. This is a very special time for us, because family is a priority and what life is all about. We talk openly and fondly about how exciting it will be for Taylor to share this special day with a sibling and for us to watch our children open gifts around a beautifully lit Christmas tree, and then walk hand in hand as a family to church to celebrate the birth of Jesus, and we are anxiously waiting to share in that day. Another tradition we have is family night. We pick at least one night a week and do just family activities such as playing games, watching movies, going to dinner, or shopping. Taylor loves picking what we do for family night and we can't wait to include your child in our family night. We also have dreams of creating new family traditions. So this gift from you will fulfill part of our dream we have had for so long.

We know we can provide the security and financial support since we both have established careers. Greg's career is in the field of sales and Lisa's is in teaching children. We are also the proud owners of a dance studio for children. Lisa is the director of the studio and loves the opportunity to work and deal with children daily. Touching young lives is very special and we love watching the children grow and learn. The dance studio has given us lots of experience and education with child development and parenting skills. Since we own the studio, Lisa's schedule is very flexible and she is able to set her own hours. The studio in our eyes is a blessing and we feel very fortunate. We believe the studio is a very positive atmosphere and want so much to be able to share that with your child.

We enjoy spending our free time together as a family or with our families and friends. We have endless plans for your child and we can't wait to spend our time as a family attending little league games, dance recitals, riding bikes or swinging on swings, or spending time in the park feeding the ducks. Greg has fond memories of going to the movies together with his family growing up. Lisa loves the memories of how her family always ate dinner together and talked about their days. These we feel are the special things in life. We also believe at that "home is where the heart is" and our greatest memories as children happened there. The thought of being at our warm and cozy home, sitting at the dinning room table enjoying dinner as a family, helping with homework, spending cold winter nights in front of the fireplace, or warm summer days on the deck brings us much joy.

Our goal is to welcome your baby into our hearts and home, helping them to grow into a happy and healthy adult. In helping raise your child, we want to continue the traditions and lessons that our parents taught us. Our parents always encouraged us to pursue an education and we want to give our children the same opportunities. We feel that family, religion, and education are of the greatest importance. By sharing our love and strong family bond we feel your child will have a life in which they can be the best he or she can be. We will also tell them how special they are and that they were and still are loved very much.

We want to thank you again and let you know that we will always be grateful if you choose us as the family for your child. You would be giving us one of the greatest gifts of our lives, and helping our family grow, and for that you would be forever in our thoughts. We will take pride in giving your baby all the opportunities in life that your child deserves.
