Dear Birth Parent(s),

Our names are Tom and Linda. Since you are reading this we know you are in the process of making one of the most difficult and important decisions of your life. We admire the courage it takes to be able to put your unborn child's needs above all else and we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We hope that this letter and these pictures will give you some idea of the loving, secure and happy home we can provide to your baby.

We would first like to tell you a little about ourselves. We have known each other for more than half of our lives. We met in high school, more than nineteen years ago and have been together ever since. We married after college and just celebrated our twelve year wedding anniversary. We have a great, loving relationship and are each other's best friends. Shortly after getting married we bought our first home, our first dog (Zena) and have enjoyed successful careers. We are grateful for the love we share with each other and what we have been able to achieve so far but have always wanted children.

We have realized that adoption is the best way to build our family and we are so excited for this process. We want nothing more than to become parents and are very excited to begin the adoption process, which was a natural choice for us. We feel the child that will come into our lives through adoption will be special and the child that was meant to be for us.

We cannot wait to share our love with your child. We are fortunate that we are able to offer a child many blessings: a home filled with love and attention, financial security, a great education, the love of family and friends and a lifetime of exciting opportunities. We look forward to the day we are able to take family vacations, go to school plays and dress up for Halloween.

Parenting for us will be very natural. Between the two of us we have four god children and have always taken an active role in their up bringing. Our friends and family are very supportive and eager to welcome a child into our family. We already have a beautiful nursery set up and anticipate the day a child will be sleeping and playing in it. Linda will be a stay at home mom and our parents will assist with any child-care needs if necessary.

We want you to know that your child will be told early on about the courageous and selfless decision his or her birth parent made to help create our family. Your child will always know his birth parents in a positive and loving light and we will stress that his or her birth parents only wanted what was best for him or her. Please let us know of any special wishes you may have for your child as he or she grows up. We are open to sending letters and pictures as often as requested.
