Our names are Aaron and Alison and we want to start by saying thank you so much for looking at our profile and for considering us as an adoptive family for your child. The decision that you are thinking about is one of great importance, a lot of emotion and more than anything else incredibly selfless. We want you to know that if you choose us as adoptive parents for your child, we will give him or her lots of love, encouragement, understanding, and the ability to become who God has created them to be.
To give you a little information about us, we met through Aaron's sister and it was love at first sight. Our first date was bowling and watching Napoleon Dynamite. We had so much fun together and we are still having fun everyday. One year from the day we met we were married and now we are ready to add a special little one. After two years of trying to get pregnant, we both feel that it is in God's plan for us to expand our family through adoption. Adoption is something that we have both had in our hearts for as long as we can remember and we can't wait until it becomes a reality.
Even though we know how blessed we are to have one another, we both have a special love in our hearts that is only meant for a child. We can promise you that your child will have many "I love you's", lots of hugs and kisses, lots of laughter, and be given every opportunity available to succeed in anything that his or her heart desires. We know how special it will be if you give us the opportunity to become parents and want you to know that you will always be cherished and acknowledged. We want to be open with your child about their adoption and about you and how much you love them. We would love to send you pictures and letters to show you their growth and who they are becoming throughout their life.
Both of our families are so excited for our adoption experience and to welcome a great grandchild, grandchild, niece or nephew and cousin into their lives. We have been so blessed to have the opportunity for Alison to be a stay at home mom and also to have so much family around us to be involved. We are so excited to make memories sledding, playing sports, at the ocean, at Christmas picking out our tree, and just playing all day at the park with our dogs. We want to spend as much family time together as possible, start new family traditions and share so much with your child. We want to make each and every day with your child special, unique and memorable, whether it be a family vacation or a rainy day inside playing.
We want you to know that we will be forever grateful if you choose us as parents for your child and that we will always be there for your child in whatever he or she needs. We will be involved in all that they do and will always be sure to show our love for him or her in our actions and our words. We will be strong and caring role models and promise to teach them the things that they will need throughout life. Whether it is learning how to roll over, to tie a shoe or to drive a car, we will be there.
