Thank you for loving your child so much that you want your baby to have the best possible life. We admire your courage and the strength it takes to choose adoption. We are honored for you to read our profile and pray for you as you make this decision for your baby.
Our names are Jay and Amy. We are best friends who fell in love and were married almost 5 years ago. We have a loving marriage built on communication, humor and trust. Jay loves sports and Amy likes to scrapbook and read. Our favorite baseball team is the Chicago Cubs and we will someday see them play at Wrigley Field! We love to travel and have been known to just up and take a weekend trip, calling our family and friends on the way out of town to let them know where we are going.
Both of our families live close to us and we love spending time with all of them. We spend our holidays running from one family to the other and we love it! On Christmas Eve, we go to a candlelight service with Jay's family. And it's tradition to go over to Amy's grandparents on Christmas day at 4:00 pm. There will be almost 30 people there laughing and talking and of course eating and opening presents. Our parents are all anxiously waiting to become grandparents and fully support our plans of adoption. Amy has three sisters and Jay has one sister. All of whom would love to babysit!
Our Christianity is very important to us. We were both raised in homes where Christian values were emphasized and enacted. We are involved with our church and hope to raise a child who is faithful to Jesus Christ and what He taught.
We have always wanted to adopt. We feel that we are blessed with big wonderful families and would love to share that with your child. As we have had trouble having children and adoption has always been close to our hearts,
we know this is the right option for us. We would provide a loving home full of laughter and respect. We would cherish your child and his or her dreams. From reading to your child when he or she is little to sending him or her to college, we would support and encourage your child in every aspect of his or her life. Jay and Amy both work flexible schedules and childcare will be arranged between them and Amy's mom who lives about 5 minutes down the road.
When we think of raising a child, we always think of sharing special moments that will make their childhood special and memorable. Amy dreams about reading to the child and teaching the child his or her ABC's and how to count. She also sees the child helping her make cookies and singing Jesus Loves Me. Jay imagines teaching him or her to throw and catch a ball or taking the child to his or her first sports events. We would love to pick out the perfect Halloween costume and go trick or treating and take the child shopping for Christmas presents for his or her cousins or other family members. We would also love to discuss the timeless stories he or she learned in Bible Class at church. We want to be there to wipe away tears when he or she has fallen down or another child has hurt their feelings. We have many dreams and activities we would love to share with a child and we would support him or her in whatever the child wanted to pursue.
We would be happy to send letters and pictures throughout your child's life. We would let your child know from birth that he or she was adopted. He or she would know about your love and the courage you had to choose adoption. We would show your child how special he or she is to be
chosen and how your child was loved by so many people before he or she was even born.
We have such a strong desire to be parents and to give a child a loving, stable, supportive home.
Thanks for taking the time to read our profile and we wish you the best in your decision.
