Thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter. We cannot imagine the decision you are faced with, but admire you so for choosing adoption for your child. There is not a more selfless or courageous act than this. We hope and pray that you are receiving the love and support you need during this time of your life.

Our names are Bobby and Carrie. We were high school sweethearts and married as soon as we graduated from college. We feel so blessed to have found each other at such a young age. This summer, we will celebrate our ninth wedding anniversary. We have always known that we wanted to have a family someday. A few years into the marriage we started to try for a baby. Through the next several years, we dealt with numerous failed attempts with infertility treatments. We finally realized that God had a different plan for us. All along, His plan was for us to be adoptive parents! Once making the decision, we are overjoyed with this plan and are looking forward to being parents more than anything else!

Becoming parents is something that we have dreamed of for so long. There is not a more challenging or rewarding job than parenting. We look forward to every aspect of parenting including diaper duty and 3am feedings! We are fortunate to be in a position that Carrie will be able to stay at home with your child. We feel that it is important for a child to have a parent around the majority of the time. We look forward to your child developing into his/her own person. We believe it is important for children to find what makes them happy instead of parents pushing ideas onto them. Your child will have the opportunity to explore different things so that he/she can discover what activities are for them.

We are hardworking, honest and dedicated Christians. We love spending time together as a family. We enjoy traveling to and exploring other states. Of course, the mountains are a favorite destination, but we also love the beach which is a much closer drive. We enjoy sporting events, amusement parks and going to the movies. During our quiet times at home, we enjoy playing board games, reading and talking with one another. We are looking forward to family picnics, little league, family vacations, playing games in the back yard and inside board games and puzzles.

If you choose us, we can promise that your child will be brought up with unconditional love and support. He/she will be given all of the financial and emotional support they need to become who they want to be. If you so desire, we will send photos and letters to you so that you can watch your child prosper and remind yourself of the great decision you have made. We would also be honest with your child from the beginning about his/her adoption. It is important to us that your child knows how much his/her birthparents love them and it is because of that love that they made the painful, but courageous decision to choose adoption. He/she will know that your decision was made to give them the very best that life has to offer. We plan to openly discuss adoption and will provide your child with any resources necessary to help them with the difficult issues that may present themselves.
