Our names are Lloyd and Colleen. We want to thank you for taking the time to look through our profile. It is with great respect that we sit down to write this letter. We cannot begin to imagine what a difficult decision this must be for you. We pray you are receiving lots of love and support that you need. We are kind, loving and caring people with strong traditions. We will raise your child in a very safe and loving environment. Being parents is our number one priority. We promise to send pictures and letters and keep you well informed on his/her progress if that is what you wish. We will be honest and open in answering any questions to the best of our knowledge and will love this child very, very much. Through you, we can become a family and for that we will always thank God. You would be the answer to our prayers. We would be deeply honored to be considered as parents. We would never forget what an important role you have played in our lives and the special decision you made to make our lives complete.

We are looking forward to the many "firsts" that come with raising a child may it be their first step, first word, first visit from the tooth fairy, or catching their first fish while on a pre-school outing. We promise to nurture your child and give them the opportunity to further their education. Education will start at a young age beginning with pre-school and Sunday school. Our families are rich in holiday traditions. Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are shared with family.

Family is very important to both of us and we both feel very fortunate to have been raised in homes with praise, patience and strong values; your child will be raised with the same values. We have a strong faith, which has served us well in our adoption process. Without the strong bond between us, we would never have made it through the trials that we have endured. We were raised valuing God and family above all, these are the things that determine our everyday lives.

We have thought long and hard about being parents and we believe that children should always know of the love surrounding them and that parents and others involved in their lives should be good role models for them. They need to be shown how to live with good morals and values. They should always know the difference between right and wrong and to make good choices in life. The best way to do this is to live with good role models and this is what we hope to be for a child.

We want you to know that this baby will always know of the love that surrounds him/her. We will always portray you as a loving person who wanted only the best for her child. We want you to know how much we admire your strength and courage in considering adoption for your child. We are lucky to have a strong love between us, as well as, the love and support of many friends and family members. The only thing missing in our lives is children. We could never thank you enough if you decided to choose us.

Again, we hope that by reading this letter, your very hard decision became a little bit easier. We hope that our home can be considered the right place for your child.
