We know you have a lot to consider right now, and we admire your decision to prepare an adoption plan for your child. By making this choice, you have the unique ability to change the lives of a hopeful couple, like us, in a wonderful way by making our dreams of building a family come to life.

We are Mark and Jeanine - a young, healthy and active couple, who look forward to the day when we can open our hearts and our home to another adopted child. In 2006, we were blessed by the miracle of adoption when we were chosen to be Alex's parents. We learned that we were unable to conceive a child naturally because of infertility issues a few years ago, and while this news was upsetting at first, we quickly realized that this didn't mean that we could not become parents ever - and becoming parents was the most important thing to us. We explored our options and just knew that adoption was the way we were destined to create our family. We had such a positive, wonderful experience when we adopted Alex, and we are dreaming of the day we can share such an amazing and beautiful experience again.

When we met while in college 12 years ago and we were instantly attracted to each other. Mark was tall, handsome and a little shy, and Mark thought Jeanine was stunning. Building on our initial magnetism, we spent more and more time together and learned that we had a lot in common. For example, we were both raised by loving parents in nice suburban neighborhoods, and we shared similar Christian values and goals for the future. We dreamed of the days we'd be raising children together.

We grew up in the great Garden State, New Jersey, so of course we think it's a great place to raise a family. One of the best things about living here is that we get to fully enjoy the beauty of all four seasons. In the summer we spend many weekends at the shore, splashing in the waves, building sand castles and strolling along the boardwalk. In the winter, we're off to the nearby Pocono Mountains to hit the ski slopes. Our favorite season is autumn when the changing leaves turn bright, rich hues of red, orange and yellow. Our own backyard contains some of the most beautiful foliage displays anywhere. The crisp days of fall are perfect for hiking around the nearby woods, going on hayrides, or just relaxing with a book and cup of hot cocoa on the deck. We look forward to sharing our experiences and creating new happy memories together as a family.

We are financially secure which allows us to enjoy the good things in life and also be able to save money for the important things to come -- like family vacations and education expenses. We are fortunate to have close-knit, loving families living nearby, who support us in everything we do. This close proximity to our families allows us to spend a lot of quality time together, whether we're sharing a meal, watching a sporting event or just catching up.

We'll take tons of photos and keep a journal documenting special occasions and everyday moments - and we would be so happy to share these with you. We promise to do everything in our power to help this child develop their intellectual, emotional and social abilities, to learn to give and accept love, to be confident and secure, to be curious and persistent and, most of all, to lead a happy life.

By making this adoption plan, you are giving not only your child, but yourself, the best chance to take advantage of all of life's opportunities. We have so much love to share and are hopeful that you will find us to be a perfect match.
