Dear Birth Parent(s),

We are extremely excited and grateful to be considered for the opportunity of finally becoming parents and we hope that this letter will give you some idea of the loving and secure home we can provide for your baby. We strongly feel that we can provide your child a happy and stable home, plenty of fun and play time and a strong moral foundation to help him or her grow up to be a happy, self-confidant adult. We have always dreamed of having children, but are not able to conceive on our own. Now we happily look forward to adoption so we can share our love with a new life. We admire the courage it took for you to choose adoption and your baby is very lucky to have someone who loves him/her so much. We know that you want your child to grow up well cared for, in a loving family, with every opportunity to succeed. We hope that, with your help, we can give your baby a wonderful home.

Both of our extended families live one state over in North Carolina and we get the chance to visit quite often. With the new addition to the family, we expect to see much more of both grandmothers. Krystal's two sisters have a total of seven kids and Jason’s sister has two, so we're the most experienced aunt and uncle you can think of! We are together for all of the holidays and get time together at the beach in the summer at Krystal's family's beach house in S.C. We are huge lovers of water so we like to spend as much time there as possible. On top of a loving family base, we have a lot of close friends that cannot wait for us to become parents. Our child will be surrounded by lots of "aunts" and "uncles."

Due to Krystal working part-time from home and Jason's flexible schedule, we will be able to be there and take part in your child's first steps, first words and all other amazing milestones as well as being able to drive them to and from school and attend all school functions and extra-curricular sporting events, if they have interest. We both think that it is a necessity to be there as much as possible, as the early years are the start of the person that they will become. We will support them in what ever they want to do and will always be there to encourage them along the way. We only hope to be given the chance to make a positive impact in the life of your child.

We want you to know what we both think that you are very brave to be bringing a new life into the world under uncertain circumstances and can only imagine this might be a difficult time in your life, but we think that it can be a positive one as well. We will gladly share letters and pictures with you as your child grows and can assure you that the child you are carrying will be welcome with open arms into our loving family. We hope to be given the chance to go on this journey with you and turn this miracle of life into a time of joy for us all.
