We want to thank you for taking the time to read this letter. We understand that you are facing a decision of great difficulty, one that requires faith, compassion and courage.
Our names are Luba and John. Our first meeting seemed like an accident but looking back it was no accident. Our interest in each other developed into a true and lasting love and it is our good fortune to have dated for two years and have been married for nine years. We have found that our diverse backgrounds (Luba having been born in Russia and John in the United States) have enhanced the quality of our relationship. We have learned to respect and enjoy our differences while building a strong and loving marriage.
We have been blessed with a tradition of moral values that were passed on by our very loving parents and we would welcome the opportunity to love and pass along those values to your child. We want to encourage and support your child, to give him or her a quality education and a strong foundation. We have been loving and devoted to each other and our families and would be fortunate to include your child in our nurturing home. We cannot wait to take pictures of your child at the playground, little league games, soccer tournaments, first day of kindergarten, July 4th fireworks, the beach, the zoo, Disneyland, family picnics, college graduation and share those pictures with you if you wish. We want to tell your child of your love and selflessness and how your thoughts of your child's future illustrate your love and compassion.
Celebrating holidays in a big way is a family tradition of ours. The entire family gathers from around the country three times a year for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. We are always included in our towns "Best Decorations list" for Christmas, and pumpkin carving is a specialty of the house. Adults and children in particular are delighted by our holiday festivities.
We are fortunate in our situation that while John is at work Luba has the opportunity to stay home and devote
herself to raising your child. It is wonderful that your child will have constant attention all day and we look
forward to the small delights like reading stories, doing puzzles, playing with neighbors, riding bikes, going to the playground. Our love and energy will be boundless for your child.
We have been blessed with good fortune in our financial situation and the deep unbridled love we share with each other but have not been able to with a child. We want more than anything, to be parents. We would be
eternally grateful if you answer our prayer and chose us to provide a loving and stable home for your child.
