Dear Birth Parent(s),

Thank you so much for taking the time to read our letter and for considering us as adoptive parents for your child. We believe that adoption is the greatest gift of love and your decision to adopt is courageous, unselfish and compassionate. We cannot begin to imagine how difficult this decision must be for you. We assure you that we will provide your child with a loving home filled with laughter, positive encouragement, support, and unconditional love.

Our names are Tim and Stephanie. We have been married for over two years and feel blessed to have found each other. We met on a blind date and immediately felt a strong connection. We spent many wonderful evenings talking into the early morning hours about our interests, goals and desires and fell madly in love. We discovered that we both love children and were eager to start a family. We simply cannot wait to share with a child all the love that we have for one another.

Neither of us can imagine life without children. Although we have unsuccessfully tried to conceive a biological child of our own, we believe God has revealed his ultimate plan for us with adoption!

We both value our family traditions and look forward to creating many new ones that include your child, as well. We plan on taking yearly vacations and spending summers at the lake. We look forward to eating dinner together as a family, helping him/her with homework, teaching him/her to ride a bike, and reading nightly bedtime stories with prayers and kisses. We also want to boil and decorate eggs for Easter egg hunts involving all the nieces and nephews in our backyard. We'll play holiday music as we decorate the house for Christmas and bake cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. We want to provide him/her with a great upbringing that we experienced as children.

We believe that it is essential to provide a loving home where we lead by example through being good role models. Our goal is to teach a child how to be independent and encourage him/her to become their own person while guiding them with support, compassion, and unconditional love. We will do everything within our means to provide the financial and emotional backing your child will need to make them happy and successful.

We are very excited to become parents and we will be open and honest to your child about his/her adoption. We understand that choosing adoption for your child is an incredibly difficult decision. Be assured that he/she will know that it was your generous love and unselfishness that allowed us the opportunity to have him/her be a part of our lives. We would be happy to send you pictures and letters as your child grows and develops, if you desire.
