Thank you for taking time to read our profile. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult and emotional time. Please know that we are amazed by your strength and courage to choose adoption for your child. We feel so blessed that our journey to grow our family has brought us to adoption and we are truly grateful that you are considering us as adoptive parents.

Adoption is very meaningful in our hearts as Allison's brother is adopted. She grew up in a loving family, knowing how special it was that her brother came to their family from a caring and generous mother who chose adoption for him. Adoption completed their family. We hope and dream to complete our family through adoption, too.

As adoptive parents, it will be our honor and responsibility to share your child's birth and adoption story with him/her as a baby, toddler, child…always. We want this child to know how he/she came into our family and know that adoption blessed our family in a special way. We will talk about you and the wonderful love behind your decision of adoption. We hope that in doing so your child will feel comfortable and secure in the knowledge of their adoption and always understand the love that brought her/him to our family. It would also be our wish to share letters and pictures with you throughout the years, if you desire.

Be assured that your child will be loved completely and cared for with gentleness, commitment and dedication. Since Allison is already a stay-at-home mom to our pre-school daughter, Jillian, your child will grow up in the security of a traditional home. We'll participate in play dates, story time at the local library, fun classes and church group and our days will be filled with learning and activity. In the summer, we will enjoy going to the park for picnics, to the pool, or boating at Mike's parents' lake house. In the fall, we'll enjoy going with friends to the apple orchard to pick pumpkins for Halloween, go for hayrides and eat crisp apples. In the winter, we will cozy up to read books, color, sing songs and bake chocolate chip cookies (if we don't eat all the cookie dough!) Another activity we enjoy is traveling and taking family vacations.

Mike provides for our family as a Vice President and mechanical engineer in a family-owned manufacturing business. His commute is a short 10 minutes, so he comes home for lunch on most days, and we always have dinner together as a family. A family tradition we (especially Mike) love is to watch Chicago Bears football games with family and friends, cheering on the team over appetizers and chili. Of course, a new baby would be the newest Bears fan! Mike also dreams about coaching his kids' soccer teams one day.

We are lucky that both Mike & Allison's parents live nearby. Our parents share a special connection with all of their grandchildren and are excited to welcome another grandchild into the family. Our weekends and holidays bring many cherished times with our nephews, ages 4 & 1, and our cousins, whose children range from babies up to teenagers. Needless to say, we share loads of laughter and fun times.

Our family is deeply rooted in our faith and our Church. We are Catholic and attend Mass as a family. Our faith believes that all children are God's children. We incorporate this belief into our family and want our children to grow up knowing God's love for them.
