It's hard to imagine what you may be going through right now. We are so amazed by your courage and strength and so thankful that you have taken the time to consider us as adoptive parents for your child.
Our names are Charles and Heather and we are excited to start our family through adoption. We tried to start our family naturally for several years and when we recently found out that having a biological child was not a likely option, we took it as a sign from God and knew immediately that adoption was the right route for us. We realized that it was more important for us to become parents to a child then for Heather to become pregnant and so we quickly began the adoption process.
We've been married now for almost four years and are so happy to have found each other. We have a great relationship; we love spending time together, we are blessed with a lovely home, great careers and a fantastic network of family and friends. Yet there is a void in our lives that we feel can only be filled by a child.
We love children and get a huge kick out of spending time with our nieces and nephews. There is nothing quite like hearing a child laugh, and we look very forward to the day when we can tickle a child and hear the glorious sound of a little one's giggle.
We consider ourselves very strong people with good work ethic, values and morals. We will lead by example and provide your child with a warm loving environment where he/she can grow and flourish. We believe in a great education and will support your child in every way possible to ensure that he/she is given the opportunity to learn. We believe in a strong scholastic education but also in the value of learning through travel and experiences and will give them the opportunity to visit new places and experience different cultures, foods and music. We will expose your child to many different things and ensure that he/she has an opportunity to find out and pursue his/her talents and interests.
We want so badly to share our life and our love with your child. We cannot wait for the day when a quiet Sunday afternoon at home is interrupted with the sound of a little child's patter. We look forward to tee-ball games, dance recitals, book reports, bed time stories, Easter Sundays, Christmas mornings and all of the other times in between.
We are so amazed by your strength, love and selflessness. We will make sure that your child knows the true extent of your sacrifice. We will share with him/her the wonderful story of how they came to join our family and will make sure he/she knows how extra special he/she is because they are loved by so many people. As your child grows, we will provide pictures and letters if you desire, so you can rest assured of your decision.
