Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you make the decision of what you feel is best for you and your baby. We can't even begin to imagine how difficult of a decision this is, but we pray that through the support of family and friends that you will feel comfortable in whatever decision you make. We are Andy and Carol. Our lives were touched by the miracle of adoption a few years ago when we were blessed with our son, Leighton. He has brought so much joy to our lives and we love him dearly. We are very open with Leighton about his adoption and we want him to know how lucky he is to have two sets of parents that love him. We cherish our relationship with Leighton's birth parents. We feel it's a great way for him to have all of the pieces to his life story. If you should choose us to raise your child, we would very much like to remain in contact with you over the years through letters and photo updates.

We have been together for nearly ten years and married for nearly eight. We had been friends for a few months, when Carol decided to be brave one January evening and plant a kiss on Andy. Luckily for her it worked - we've been together ever since. Part of what makes our relationship so strong is that same playfulness, which we make a part of our every day lives. We try to find fun in everything we do and it's not uncommon for us to tear up from laughing so hard. We apply that playful spirit to our parenting as well - we're always making up silly songs and dances or coming up with fun new games to play. Trips to the park are just as much fun for us as they are for Leighton!

As parents, we believe in providing children with love, support and encouragement in all they choose to do. It is very important for us to provide our children with many opportunities and expose them to as many different things as we can. We feel that the best gift you can give a child is your time and attention. We believe that we will be blessed with the right child for our family and we welcome a child of any race. We promise to love all of our children unconditionally. We will ensure that your child is involved in activities and schools that promote diversity and individuality. We are committed to helping your child through any challenges they may face and look forward to the joys your child will bring to our life.

If you choose us to care for this child, please know that we will provide for them a home filled with love. This child would be a very welcome addition to not only our family, but our extended families as well. Our families are very excited to welcome a new baby. Leighton makes sure to tell people at every chance he gets that he's going to be a big brother.
