Adoptive Family Matt and Andrea
Allow us to introduce ourselves. We are Matt and Andrea. We have one adopted daughter named Viviana. We would like to thank you for taking the time to consider us and preview our story. We are not going to tell you we understand what you are going through or how hard of a discussion this must be for you. We would like to offer ourselves as your greatest resources and would give the world to meet you and have the opportunity to give all of our love to a child we have never met. The words “I loved you before I met you,” comes to our mind. Please allow us to tell you our story.

Believe it or not we met on the internet. Our religion is very important to us so we met, on a Catholic dating site. We talked on the internet for two weeks before we started to talk on the phone. We were both making sure this would be right for us. After a month we met. We knew for months we were going to spend the rest of our lives together. We got engaged after dating for seventeen months and eight months after that we were married! We have been married for four years. We adopted Viviana from birth in December of 2015. We have a Shih Tzu named Brooklyn. Andrea adopted her from a local shelter.

Matt's parents have a lake house on Table Rock Lake. We enjoy spending time with his family at the lake house in the summer. Andrea's family owns a lake house at the Lake of the Ozark where the entire extended family on her dad's side spends almost every weekend. Andrea's father also has a lake house at the Lake of the Ozarks. We spend our summer at all of the family lakes houses.

We knew we would have a difficult time naturally conceiving children before we were married but had talked about adoption from the beginning. After being married for six months and naturally trying to conceive we contacted a male infertility specialist who gave us the news we knew was coming. We knew right away we would adopt.

We want to raise children in the same loving traditions we were raised in. We want to spend nights playing games and summer weekends at the lake. Andrea is now a stay-at-home parent. We want to have as many children as God will allow us to have and plan on adopting more than once. With Andrea being a twin, we would love to adopt twins if the situation ever came available. We plan to parent in a loving nature and by talking and taking the time out of our schedules to put out children first.

Having Viviana is our lives have brought us much love and joy. We know Viviana will be a great big sister! She is very happy and smiles often. We have worked hard to create a beautiful loving bond with Viviana. We have an open adoption with Viviana’s birth family and have created a bond with them. We do scheduled visits throughout the year.

Our plan is to have an open or semi open adoption. We are willing to communicate by phone, email and by sending pictures.

Again we would like to thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. We would love to meet with you and answer any more questions you might have. Our prayers are with you and your unborn child.
