Adoptive Family Jonathan and Andrea
Hello!

Thank you for taking the time and allowing us to introduce ourselves to you and tell you a little bit about who we are. We are Andrea and Jonathan. We have been married for 8 years and together for 11 years. Our relationship is one built on love, trust, and support of each other. We have the same morals and spiritual beliefs. We are truly each other's best friend. We enjoy spending time together, whether it be at a sporting event, school function, participating in an outdoor activity, or just staying home and watching T.V. We both have been raised in small communities and live in the community where Jonathan was raised.

Andrea grew up in a small community neighborhood. Her father was transferred to a new job when she was in the 1st grade that caused them to have to move away from their family for a little while. They moved about an hour away. In 2004, Andrea and her family moved back to their hometown. Andrea works as an English teacher at the local high school and her parents both work at the local elementary schools.

Jonathan also grew up in a small town. He and Andrea currently live in the town where Jonathan was raised. Jonathan and Andrea live on Jonathan's family farm. Growing up, Jonathan's family raised cows and chickens. Jonathan's family still raises cows today. Jonathan was also a math teacher and received a teaching job at the high school he graduated from when he received his college degree. Jonathan is now an assistant principal at another high school in the same district.

Both of our families are very close in proximity to us. All of our aunts, uncles, and grandparents are within an hour drive from our home. We get together often, especially on holidays and important family events. We are very close to our families. Andrea is an only child and Jonathan has one sister.

Our faith is also an important part of our lives, so we attend church regularly. We believe that it is important for families to have their children in church, and we will do this as parents. Our church has many young children in its congregation, and we believe that our child will benefit greatly from being involved in our church. We love the life that we have built together, and we can't wait to share that life with our adopted child.

We do not have any children. Unfortunately, we lost our first child during a miscarriage and have had infertility problems since that loss. We have been blessed in so many ways and pray, that through this adoption, we will be able to fulfill our dream of becoming parents. We are not perfect, by any means, but if you choose to entrust us with your child, we can guarantee that we will provide a loving home with many friends and family to share in loving your child.

We love being involved with the children of our community and are very excited to bring a child into our home. Our promise to you is to love your child unconditionally and provide him or her with love, encouragement, and guidance, both emotionally and spiritually. We will be open with your child about where they come from and how God brought us together. We will share letters and pictures with you.

We look forward to raising a child, sharing the joys of growing up, experiencing the smiles, comforting the disappointments, and giving lots of love.
