Adoptive Family Chadwick and Elizabeth

We can only imagine what you might be going through right now. What we do know, is that this decision is very difficult and we both would like you to know that we truly admire your courage. We are humbled and honored that you are reading our letter. Hopefully, you will be able to gain insight into our lives and see the love and security we have to offer.

We have been married for six years and have so much love to give. Since the beginning of our marriage in 2011, we've known that we wanted to start a family. Shortly after we were married our struggle to have children became apparent. Through our faith in God and support of each other, we realized that there was another plan for us and our dream to become parents. We are strongly committed to opening our hearts and sharing all of the love we have with your child.

Please know that your child will be welcomed into a loving and stable family. We are very much in love with each other and look forward to sharing our love with your baby. We take advantage of every opportunity we have to spend time together, not only time alone but also with our families and friends. We enjoy entertaining at our home. We've had gatherings for everything from birthday parties to Thanksgiving and Christmas day festivities. Our home has become a popular gathering place for our family and friends. We look forward to building memories and traditions with your child.

We both have a love and passion towards education. Both of us are teachers and absolutely love what we do. Elizabeth is a reading specialist for grades PK-2. She loves working with teachers and students on a daily basis. Elizabeth can not wait to see the kids grow as the year progresses. Chadwick works with high school students in grades 9-12 as a technology teacher. Chadwick's greatest purpose is to be a role model for his students. He strives to lead his students to be independent kind individuals and challenges them to give back to others. He utilizes these same principles while coaching on the basketball court.

Being in education makes us a unique couple because we are always off nights, weekends, and major holidays. Being in the same district, we will have a lot of family time together during the holidays because we have the same days off. This is a great time to form our own family traditions and spend time with our extended family. We also both have summers off. This offers us even more time to spend together as a family. We can go on vacations, go to different activities in the city, volunteer at an animal shelter, or spend some lazy summer days at home together.

You are and will always be significant to us and our family. We welcome your continued investment in your child's life. We are happy to send email updates, with pictures and stories, as well as, letters with keepsakes that mark milestones in your child's life. That way you can see how he or she has grown and how much they are loved and cared for. We are eager to know you and happy to work together to maintain a happy and healthy relationship. We make a commitment to you that we will always speak highly of you and honor you with our words and actions. From our perspective, you have made a brave decision and we will always admire and respect you for your choice. Our gratitude for your selflessness will be evident throughout your child's life in our home.

Words cannot express how ready we are to become parents and we know that it would not be possible without your strength and courage.
