Our Life Priorities
We Can't Wait to Become Parents!

Our life priority since marrying is beginning our family with children. For the past 5+ years we have focused all our efforts and resources to have our own biological child, however since we exhausted all our options in this regard, we are excited to follow the path of adoption to add a child to our family. We both have worked hard on our careers and have had many successes. All the work is done with the intent on supporting a family. Rachel left her career to focus on having children and preparing to stay home to raise a family, and take care of our pets and property.

Family is our ultimate priority, our own and spending time with our extended family. Many of our vacations revolve around spending time with family, and enjoying our parents, siblings and nieces and nephews. Faith is also a priority to us. We attend Mass every Sunday and participate in our church community at events and hosting apple picking.

We look forward to sharing our family and our faith with a child. We are so very excited to begin this next chapter of our lives!

Our Professional Lives
Art at the Barn

Jim is an incredible attorney who established his own firm over a decade ago. He keeps busy working hard for clients, representing them during difficult times in their lives. He is great at what he does because he is intelligent, has a good head on his shoulders, amazing memory, and most importantly a love for the law and helping people with his talents.

Rachel left her successful career as a client executive for a healthcare insurance company during our infertility journey. Since stress was one concern from doctors, we made the decision for Rachel to leave her job since the ultimate plan was for Rachel to be a stay-at-home mom. Today Rachel manages the home, property, runs a small craft business and hosts craft events. Rachel also helps out at Jim’s office when needed.

Fun Facts About Us:
Noah Cat & Cora Puppy

  • We love to attend college basketball games and can’t wait to share that with a child.
  • Jim makes some amazing BBQ, he has attended two classes with Pitmasters to learn how to make all kinds of smoked meat!
  • Rachel enjoys all kinds of art and crafts. She loves sewing, a craft that she learned from her mom who is a quilter, and both of her grandmothers.
  • We love attending live music concerts, especially in open air arenas.
  • We love to travel and see new places.
  • We have nearly 30 apple trees in our orchard which we love to pick and make apple cider to have through the winter.
  • We enjoy going to Broadway shows as well as movies.
  • Every summer we have a reunion with Jim’s whole family, 24 of us in a beach house for a week.
  • Our home was built in 1895 and our barn was built in 1900. Our shed used to be the original out-house, and our guest house we updated from the original summer kitchen - where they would cook during summer months years ago.
  • Our puppy Cora is half Chinese Crested and half Pomeranian. 100% fun and lovable. Rachel’s parents live nearby and often puppy-sit for us.
