Our Dreams for this Child
We Can't Wait to be Parents!

Our family dream is probably similar to most - we want a happy and healthy family! We spend a lot of time together, travel near and far, and enjoy life itself. If there is one thing we have learned through our journey it’s that every day is a blessing and you need to enjoy it. We are so excited to complete our family through adoption and are looking forward to the journey. We know this journey will not be quick or easy, but instead, look forward to the joy in meeting the child that is already growing in our hearts.

We want our child to know they can accomplish anything they want in life if they set their mind to it. We are ready and excited to spend time creating memories with our child, going on trips and exploring life. We look forward to putting our child at the center of our lives! We also look forward to the many firsts with a child: their first trip to see their grandparents, first holidays, and all the milestones along the way to promote growth and develop a well-rounded, young adult with a successful career.

Cultural Diversity

There are many different ways to address cultural diversity. One way we plan to address culture is with age appropriate conversations to teach and provide relevant background for your child’s growth. We plan to use family and friends along with co-workers who will share their ethnic heritage with your child. We also live in a very culturally diverse community. This will allow us to embrace community gatherings, as well as, art and children’s museums to teach and support the cultural differences we may share with your child. We both love history and know there is a wealth of knowledge to learn from historic vacations, cultural festivals, celebrations and museums that show accurate portrayals of all cultures.

Our Professional Lives
Brad Hard at Work

Brad has been a Sheriff’s Deputy for six years. Prior to that, he worked in the county’s jail after completing his criminal justice degree. Brad is very proud to serve and protect his community. While his job can be intense, Brad is incredibly intuitive, using his instincts, technology and his fellow deputies to ensure not only his safety, but those around him as well. Brad works 8 hours shifts and has a rotating schedule which allows us to frequently have time off together during the week or weekends. This allows us to have fun day trips and some mid-week mini vacations.

Visiting a NICU Grad

Miranda is a Registered Nurse. She has worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for three years. Prior to that, she worked as a labor and delivery and post-partum care nurse for four years. With the experience and knowledge Miranda has gained in her career she has a very good understanding of the medical needs and overall needs for the babies she cares for daily. Miranda is a dedicated nurse who has kept in touch with some of the families she cares for in the NICU, and is frequently invited to visit with the babies and their families to see how they are progressing. Miranda loves that she is able to make such a lasting impact on her patient’s lives.
