Our family is ready to welcome another child! The Lord has called us to adoption again and we thank you for viewing our profile for this important and difficult decision you are considering for your child. We do not personally know the feelings you hold but we respect your courageous decision to consider adoption. We would be honored to welcome and love your child(ren). We would raise your child(ren) to know that Jesus, you, and our family unconditionally love him/her.

The picture of adoption is beautiful and very real to our family. We have talked about adoption and have thought from early on in our relationship that we would adopt. Due to birthing complications after our third child was born, Lisa was unable to have more biological children, which led us to pursue adoption in 2014, to grow our family.
In 2015, our youngest son, Elijah, joined our family through adoption. We were blessed to get the phone call that Elijah's birth mom was going into labor. As soon as we hung up the phone, we jumped in the car and drove all night to make it to his birth. Elijah is the first of our children that Lisa held first due to birthing complications with the other children. We fell in love at first sight! As soon as we walked into the house with Elijah, and our other children met him for the first time, he was their brother.
Prior to our own adoption, we were fortunate to walk alongside friends as they grew their families through adoption. Our children's best friends are adopted and for our family, adoption has been the normal.
Our family believes families are built many different ways and adoption is one of those ways. A family is about doing life together, supporting each other, and loving unconditional, it is more than looking alike or having the same genes. We are so thankful and have been completely blessed with the opportunity that adoption gives us to grow our family.
We are a Christian family that is active and appreciates simple pleasures. We attend a contemporary Christian church where Lisa participates in a ladies Bible study and the older children attend a children's Bible study.
We involve ourselves in our community by serving others. We enjoy volunteering for activities our children are involved with or events that our church community has going on.
Our family loves to be outdoors. We enjoy bike riding, jogging, and taking the kids to the park or community swimming pool. Together we participate in races that benefit causes close to our hearts.
Our children also love the outdoors. You can usually find them playing behind our house with several other neighborhood children. As a family we like to play basketball, baseball, soccer, bike, and take evening walks together.
When the weather does not allow outdoor activities, we enjoy games, crafts, baking, or a movie with popcorn. Occasionally we will hit the local Sonic for slushies.
Vacations are usually visiting family and friends, however this summer we started a new tradition of doing a family camp together. Other family favorites are the beach, water parks, and festivals. The military life gives us the opportunity to experience different cities, scenic places, historical landmarks and children's museums wherever we live.
Our family traditions probably seem simple but they are important to us. Our weekly traditions include Taco Tuesdays, Friday pizza night, and Saturday morning chocolate chip or sprinkle pancakes before we head off to the children's sports games. In our current neighborhood, we have the tradition of having the snow-cone truck visit every Friday after dinner where we all seem to cool off with a different favorite flavor snow-cone!
One of our children's favorite traditions are birthdays. We decorate the house for the birthday and make the day about the birthday person. As a family we have the birthday person's favorite breakfast, lunch, and dinner and Lisa always makes the birthday cake of choice. On her birthday, the kids get to decorate the house and her cake!
We hold many holiday traditions. At Easter we dye eggs, attend an egg hunt, and Lisa makes a homemade coconut cake to go with our meal. Fourth of July is another favorite tradition of ours as we attend a festival with a large firework show and have a cook-out with family or friends. We create a thankful tree in November leading to Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving weekend we decorate for Christmas with trees in several rooms. We also make gingerbread houses, bake cookies for gifts, watch The Polar Express in our pajamas, attend a tree lighting and Christmas Eve Service. On Christmas morning we stay in pajamas, exchange gifts, and play with new toys.
