Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our family. To us, being an amazing parent means being a loving spouse, and modeling how to love and respect one another. It means being present and making time for each other and our family. It also means showing our child how to work hard, accept responsibility, forgive, help others, and most importantly, to have fun.

Our Lives as Educators
Elizabeth With Students

We believe all babies are born learners. We know the critical role we play in determining what our child will become. Our background in education will also play a vital role in their growth and development.

We are both educators in a very large and diverse district. Elizabeth started her teaching career in a first grade dual-language classroom and fell in love with teaching and her first grade students. Currently, she is a reading specialist on an elementary campus. She coaches, trains, and models best practices to teachers in grades PK-2. The happiest time of her day is spent teaching students how to read and seeing them smile when they are successful.

Chadwick began his teaching career as a communications teacher at the campus' ninth grade center. Currently, Chadwick is a technology teacher at one of the largest high schools in the state. Chadwick is also an assistant head coach of the boy's basketball team. He consistently strives to support his students on and off of the court.

We both have experience in different areas and ages of education. Just as we do everything we can to help our classroom children, we will do whatever it takes to help this child. Whether it be teaching them letters and sounds, how to write their name, to love reading, or to be responsible and independent. If we cannot help them, we have resources and contacts available to us because of the connections we have made throughout the district.

Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other
Date Night

Elizabeth About Chadwick: Chadwick is one of the most genuine people I know. He is kind, gentle, and honest. These are just a few of the reasons I fell in love with him. Every day he tries to make me happy and smile. Chadwick strives to see the good in every situation even in those moments that seem impossible. I love how much he truly cares for the team he coaches and the students he works with every day. I admire how much he does for them outside of the classroom. I could not imagine a better daddy for any child.

Chadwick About Elizabeth: Elizabeth is a strong independent woman who has helped grow me into the man I am today. I admire the drive and selflessness she exhibits with her students and teachers. I love that Elizabeth pushes her students and teachers to be successful even against insurmountable odds. She cherishes the opportunity to be a mentor and friend to her students. I have never met a person who has such drive and determination to make her students happy and see them succeed. Any child will be fortunate to have mom like her. I have no doubt she will be the most amazing mommy that will love your child unconditionally.

What It Means to Become Parents

Becoming parents would mean the world to us. We have not been able to have one of our own and want a child more than anything. To us, being a parent is the most rewarding and remarkable thing we could ever do. We expect some sleepless nights but we know we will love every minute we get to be together. We expect to love being together as a family. We cannot wait to take trips to the children's museum or take a family trip to the zoo. We are also extra excited to spend holidays together. We always do it up for most holidays and are extremely excited to celebrate with the baby. We cannot wait until the baby is old enough to participate in these traditions. Putting decorations out and on the trees, baking cookies, opening presents, dying Easter eggs, celebrating birthdays. All holidays were special to us when we grew up and we look forward to loving those moments together with the baby and all of our family.
