Adoption Story - Nate and Donna

We were very happy with Americans Adopting Orphans for the first adoption but, are even more satisfied the second and third times around.  Every time something business related is sent to them by a client their staff sends out a post card confirming it was received.

And flexibility....as far as I've witnessed they have always been very flexible.  We felt it the first time as their staff in China accompanied us on the back woods overnight journey to our daughter's home city.  It couldn't have been convenient or easy for them to make those arrangements but, they were committed to supporting our efforts to learn more about our daughter.  We felt Americans Adopting Orphans' flexibility again during our second adoption when they helped get our out of state home study draft corrected in 24 hours because our Michigan social worker was leaving on a trip to Brazil and needed to make revisions for the final copy.  The social worker told us two days before we needed it and someone at Americans Adopting Orphans devoted a day to getting everything in order and to our social worker.  The staff at Americans Adopting Orphans diligently worked with the home study providers we chose to do our home studies in our States of residence. This last time we had a move and a job change and AAO made sure there wasn't a single bump in our adoption process.

One of the areas where Americans Adopting Orphans really shines is its service in China.  Thanks to the competent and knowledgeable staff our entire experience in China went smoothly and was very enjoyable. We actually hated to come home.  We are taking our daughters to bring home their sister this time.  Knowing how well everything is handled by Americans Adopting Orphans in China has given us added confidence about taking them.

AAO is a fantastic adoption agency.  They have a step option so that clients design their own adoption support based on the level of service they need.  For instance my husband and I felt very comfortable with doing a lot of the paperwork ourselves so we chose a basic instruction pack level of service.  But we wanted more support while we were in China and with the actual in country adoption process.  In this area we chose "Full Service". We were able to get exactly the service we wanted and needed for all three of our adoptions.  We saved a lot of money this way too and this enabled us to go on and adopt three daughters in the last 6 years.  We found that Americans Adopting Orphans gave us the freedom of choice that we needed when we were forming our family.
