Marriage
When faced with the reality of an unplanned pregnancy, some couples explore the marriage option. In the past, marriage in response to a pregnancy was common. Today, with more options available, the pressure to marry isn't so intense. Marriage should be seen as a permanent union, done in the name of love and a desire to spend every day together for the rest of your lives. Couples who make the choice to get married because of a pregnancy, and not because they are in love, face an increased risk of a later divorce, which can be especially traumatic for children.
