Fatigue

This feeling is common among almost all pregnant women at some point during pregnancy -- growing a baby takes a lot of energy!

With so many changes to the body hormonally, psychologically and physically it’s no wonder you can be just absolutely exhausted after just a few hours.

Women who are traditionally night owls begin going to bed significantly earlier. Also implementing a daily nap becomes a habit.

The key is to listen to your body – if it’s ready for sleep and rest – then sleep and rest.

Remedies and/or Prevention:

  • It's simple….REST!
  • Eat a healthy and balanced diet.
  • Avoid caffeine.
  • Exercise can really alleviate an excess of fatigue despite feeling like you can’t do it – even a short walk can be effective.
