Dizziness

Most often in pregnant women, light headedness and dizziness is related to the increase of your blood pressure or lowered blood sugar.

It's important to keep an eye on your blood pressure throughout your pregnancy. Dizziness can also be a result of low blood sugar, dehydration or issues with your iron levels (anemia).

Ways to Prevent Dizziness

  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Check with your Dr about your blood pressure.
  • Check with your Doctor about your iron levels and if you need to be on iron supplements.
  • Rest, don’t stand too long.
  • When you get up from a seated or laying down position, take your time.
