My name is Cheyenne and I am 29 years old. I gave birth to a baby boy on March 22, 2017.
I found out very late in my pregnancy that I was pregnant. It was really a big shock to me to find out. I wasn’t prepared and was unsure what to do. After careful consideration and lots of thought, I decided to look into adoption. I contacted American Adoptions. I was still unsure at first and very overwhelmed by all the decisions I had to make. After more thought about the adoption, I decided to move forward.
I have one son already, and he is 10. I am a single mother working full time. Although I love my son, it has not been easy raising him on my own with no help. I did not want to go through that again and didn’t want a new baby to go through my struggles either and only have one parent around. I wanted better for this baby.
After choosing the adoptive family, I instantly fell in love with them and knew I was making the best decision possible. They wanted a baby more than anything and could provide everything that I could not. It made me so happy that I found them and they loved the baby before even meeting him or I.
