My name is Pacita I am twenty-five years old and have three children and raising two of them on my own with only little help from my dad. So, imagine my shock when I found out I was pregnant with my fourth child at six months pregnant

I began to look online at adoption stories and different web pages with families who wanted to adopt. One family I saw stuck out a little more than others, and that is how I came across American Adoptions. I knew that I was making the best decision for my son....

I am a 29 year old single mom of a 3 year old girl... Becoming pregnant again, which I didn't find out until my 6^th month, freaked me out to say the least. How could I possibly take care of another child, while dealing with my own medical conditions, if I could barely take care of the child I had already? Even though I had used protection during the time the new child was conceived, there was only one option for me: adoption.

I was in a relationship and the father started to change after we became engaged and we eventually grew apart. Just when I started to move on with my liffe, I found out that I was pregnant. So, I called my ex and told him. He didn't believe me and was saying that is wasn't his baby, although it was. In the early stages of my pregnancy I found out I was going to have twins and knew that I wasn't ready for that. Then something happened to one fo the twins and the doctor said that I was only going to have one. I thought about keeping the baby and moving back home, but I wanted a father figure for my child and knew that wouldn't happen so I finally made the decision to adopt him out. I contacted American Adoptions and they were very helpful in helping me find a family for my baby.

I thank American Adoptions for making my decision easy and helping me through the whole process. They are truly God-sent and everyone that works for them.

I was five months pregnant with my second child and abortion was not an option. We were behind on our rent and utilities; at one point our gas was shut off. We were even scrounging for food. This is when I decided to contact American Adoptions.

Let me tell you about my story. My name is Kara and on November 18th 2005, I gave birth to a beautiful little boy, who would be named Eli. I came to American Adoptions about 6 months into my pregnancy, homeless and afraid, and they immediately helped me by sending me some families to choose from. I picked John and Shanna, because they, like me, were from the south, and i knew my baby would grow up with the same values that I had.

I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd child two weeks after my son turned 1 year old.
