Jennifer's Scholarship Letter
Getting a college degree has always been a priority for my life. My education hopes and goals are simple, I want to major in business management and marketing. After graduation I hope to open my own successful interactive entertainment company for families.
My vision is a fun place where families can play together in a safe; friendly atmosphere. This is a place with bouncing play units, carnival games and concessions. Currently, I am one of two managers at a local children's entertainment company called the Fun Factory. I love every minute of it!
I graduated from Hillcrest High School in May, 2007 and started attending Shelton State Community College in the Fall of 2007. I am currently enrolled in the summer semester taking 13 hours. Upon finishing my two year degree at Shelton State I plan on attending The University of Alabama.
It is important to me to get my degree with only a little help from my parents. With the help of a Birth Mother Scholarship, I will be able to finish my degree in four years. Without a Birth Mother Scholarship it will take longer. I will have to work full time and take a few less courses each semester.
I should be considered for a Birth Mother Scholarship, because I am a hardworking, organized, dedicated student. I will work hard to keep the minimum GPA. Should a Birth Mother Scholarship be awarded to me, I will work hard to graduate with a business and marketing degree from The University of Alabama. |
