Priscilla’s Story

No one could ever imagine being in a situation of giving up something that was created inside you. When I found out I was pregnant, I was only 18 years old and fresh out of high school. I hadn’t even started to taste what life had in store for me. I would be giving up my life for my unborn baby. I was scared and in denial. I realized I would not be able to care for this baby and I knew I had to take action. Right away I knew that if I had to give my baby to another family they deserved the healthiest baby possible. I no longer was just someone’s mother, I became a surrogate mother. I chose adoption for my son because he deserved the best and at the time I was at in my life, I couldn’t provide that for him. Now he is in a beautiful home with a family that I couldn’t help but fall in love with.
