When I first found out I was pregnant I didn’t know how to react. I was scared and also excited about being a mother to a beautiful baby girl. I later came to realize that raising a child while being a young, single mother (with no stable home or family support), would not be a good life for my child or myself. American Adoptions helped me make some decisions during this difficult time.

Choosing adoption for my daughter was one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. However, I am grateful knowing that my child is loved and cared for by her adoptive parents. They can provide for her and give her everything that I wish I could have given her. American Adoptions also helped me by providing me with a place to live and the resources I needed to get back on my feet. I am very thankful to them for that.
