Cecilia's Story

The reason I chose adoption was that I wanted my child to have the very best life, financially, physically, and, mentally and at the time I was not able to provide that.

I have two small children at home and I don't really have much support from my family or their father. I am basically on my own and this has made it hard on me. I sometimes do not have enough money for myself or my children. I have been struggling to make ends meet for the past 5 years and another child would make it extremely hard. I thought I could make someone else happy by giving them a life that deserves to live.

I chose Pedro and Michelle because my heart felt that they would make great parents and when I met them they were exactly what I was praying for. God does answer prayers. Pedro and Michelle were very supportive in my labor and never left my sight. They were very understanding and caring and I enjoyed every minute they shared with me in the hospital. They loved the baby as soon as she was born as if it were their own. I saw the happiness in their eyes and that is when I knew I had made the right choice.

My adoption specialist was wonderful and I am blessed to have known her. I am very happy with my decision and I can go on with my life knowing my child will be happy and loved and I will be looking forward to many pictures.
