Erin's Adoption Story

When I first found out I was pregnant, adoption was the last thing on my list. I hated the thought of it. Later on as I was exploring my options, I was talked into just checking it out. I talked to Megan and told her how I felt. A few days later she sent me a package with tons of information and bios of different parents. I thought it was the coolest thing. It was like shopping for parents! Coming to American Adoptions changed my life. It was the best thing I could have done for my baby. My sons' parents are the most wonderful people in the world. I absolutely could not have asked for anything more. The adoption process went exactly as I had hoped it would. American Adoptions was so flexible with me. I wanted an open adoption and that's exactly what I got. My son lives very close to me and I see him a few times a month. We usually go to the park or dinner together. Adoption has been such a positive experience for me and I couldn't have gotten through it without Megan and everyone else at American Adoptions. I would recommend it to anyone.
